Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 5, 2026

Short version: this site does not track you with cookies.

1. Marketing site

The Ruligent marketing site (www.ruligent.com) sets no tracking cookies. No ad pixels, no cross-site trackers, no cookie banner needed.

2. Dashboard

The dashboard keeps you signed in using a session token stored in your browser's localStorage. It is not a cookie, is never sent to third parties, and exists only so the dashboard can authenticate your requests. It is removed when you sign out, and the server stores only a SHA-256 digest of it.

3. Optional analytics

If PostHog product analytics is enabled for a deployment, PostHog may use its own storage (cookies or localStorage) to distinguish sessions. Analytics is optional and configurable — privately deployed deployments have it off by default. To opt out, use your browser's tracking protections or block posthog.com; you can also email www.ruligent.com/contact and we will exclude your account from analytics. Details on what analytics collects are in the Privacy Policy.

4. Payments

When you subscribe, checkout happens on Stripe's pages, and Stripe sets cookies it needs for payment processing and fraud prevention under Stripe's privacy policy.

5. Changes

If we ever start using cookies beyond what is described here, we will update this page first and add consent controls where the law requires them.
